Be active
Want to take an active role representing us at events? Nice! You probably also already know which event – you have either received an invitation to take active part as a speaker or as a panel discussion member, or have learnt about an opportunity in some other way and would like to seize it.
Start with contacting the Corporate Communications Department to consult on the subject, available presentation tools and materials, as well for the final authorisation and support.
Associations
There are associations for nearly every profession or area of interest and many have national, state, and regional chapters available to join. An association is a synergistic group, meaning that the effect of a collection of people is greater than just one person.
Becoming a part of a professional community can help further your personal career goals by growing your professional network, exchanging ideas and learning about latest trends and best business practices while promoting and advocating Atlantic Grupa business.
If you recognise an opportunity or a topic of interest for further involvement of Atlantic Grupa in an association you are a member of, we encourage you to contact and engage relevant colleagues in order to seize it.
Be representative
A fact that often slips our minds is that in parallel to having active ambassador roles as public speakers and professional association members, we also reflect our company in our everyday life – at work and in private.
How we present ourselves in interactions with our colleagues and business partners, from our attire and demeanour to our attitudes, also represent Atlantic Grupa. Now, at Atlantic we want you to express your authentic self. That’s why we’ve come up with a few guidelines that will help you make an impression - to be professional, yet individualised. Check our bonton and dress code here.
Besides our business persona, we presume a range of other roles in our daily life, one of which is the role of a consumer. As an Atlantic Grupa employee, you are in a unique position to truly understand the amount of love and effort we put into developing our brands and products. Why not share some of this love with your close ones - from fun facts about our brands to delicious treats from our product range. And next time you’re in a store, show some love for our products - see a turned over Donat Mg bottle? Put it back up!
Do your thing
For some, public performance comes easy, while others are more comfortable in behind-the-scenes roles as jury members or case study mentors.
Youngsters instinctively post teamwork selfies on social media walls while seniors sovereignly advocate company’s interests in professional associations. We all got our own thing, and as we have seen throughout this guidebook, there’s a range of ways in which you can contribute to the company’s image, so please, do your own thing. And when you do give voice to your opinion, we’d like you to be genuine; speak in your own voice and from your own experience while bearing the context of the company guidelines in mind.
We certainly don’t want you to feel forced to be the company’s cheerleader in public or on social media. However, we’d like to remind you that your voice is the most trusted and the most powerful means of communicating the Atlantic Grupa brand. Building a strong image of a company and introducing what we do and how we do it consequently enables us to attract great new business opportunities, partners, and colleagues. And in an ocean of opportunities we are equally called upon to create them as much as we are invited to seize opportunities.
